Primary Positions is seeking the services of a farm manager for its 2000ha property located 25km west of Wagga Wagga on the banks of the Murrambidgee River.
The property operates a 1500 head freestall dairy with a fully computerised 60 unit rotary dairy. The balance of the property has 500ha of centre pivot irrigation and dryland cropping to support the dairy.
We boast modern equipment, a high production herd and a dedicated staff with a focus on safety and the performance of the business.
The successful applicant will need to be;
- Highly motivated, honest and reliable.
- Be able to work with all levels of staff.
- Be computer literate and comfortable with financial reporting and budgeting.
- Have extensive experience in the feedlot dairy industry.
- Have a dynamic "can-do" attitude.
Wagga provides all aspects of a modern country life, with ample restaurants, theatres, schools and sporting facilities. It is located only 5hrs by road from both Sydney and Melbourne and is serviced daily by commercial airliner to both.
In this role you will report directly the the property owners. You will be provided with a fully maintained company vehicle and modern 4 bedroom air conditioned house with an acre of maintained gardens. There is school bus service to all Wagga schools at the propertys front gate. The property office is located at the dairy.
